Are you looking to get a new shop front but can not decide whether to get a UPVC shop front or an aluminium shop front.

UPVC shop fronts are generally cheaper than aluminium and are a good shop front if you are not getting a lot of customers through the door each day for an example a hairdressers is an ok place to install the UPVC shop front as there are only a handful of people coming in each day, the customers will generally close the door after them selves and the double glazing will keep the heat in for the customers who are sat about without there coats on. If your shop gets a lot of foot fall each day then we can only recommend an aluminium shop front.

Aluminium is strong and will not break like plastic, it is easy to maintain, can come in any colour and is very easy to maintain. Aluminium shop fronts are designed for heavy usage but can be installed for any type of shop, the glass can be single glazed or double glazed. Aluminium shop fronts are a little more expensive but will last a lot longer than UPVC shop fronts.

Overall if you a looking for a quick cheaper option and are not expecting your shop front to last a lifetime then UPVC is a good choice but if your looking for a shop front that will last many years aluminium though slightly more expensive is a better choice.
